- 1 cup Dates de-seeded and chopped 130gm
- 2 Tbsp Ghee
- ½ cup Desiccated Coconut 50gm
- ½ cup Cashew Nut and Raisins
- ¼ cup Khus Khus 25gm
- ¾ cup Khoya 100gm
Trim off the head of the Dates using a sharp knife, chop it up and remove the seeds. Keep the Dates in a mixer grinder jar and blend them into a smooth puree. Add some water while you're making the Puree to make a smooth Puree.
Heat a Frying Pan and Add the Khus Khus or Poppy Seeds to it. Toast it over medium-high flame until it gets fragrant and toasty. Once it's toasty, take it off on a plate.
Add 1 tbsp Ghee in a Pan and add the chopped Cashew Nuts. Toast until it gets nutty and golden brown in color. Once it's toasted, take it off the pan and keep aside.
Add ghee in a Pan. As the Ghee Melts, add the Dates Puree. Once the Dates get aromatic, after about 1-2 min over a low flame, add the grated Khoya and Grated Coconut. Mix all of these until they get toasted and start to leave the Pan. Once it's done, take it off the heat. Add the toasted Cashew Nuts and the Raisins. Mix well until combined.Allow the mixture to cool down to room temperature. Now, once the Laddu mixture had cooled down, make small Balls of the filling. Dust with toasted Khus Khus all over the Ladoo and serve.
