- 2-3 whole Green Chilis chopped
- 6-7 cloves Garlic minced
- ½ inch Ginger chopped finely
- 1 medium sized Carrot finely chopped
- 5-10 whole Green Beans finely chopped
- ½ size Cabbage finely chopped
- 4 cups Water
- 2 Tbsp Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Chili Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- salt & pepper to season
- 1 stalk Spring Onion finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
Chili Oil
- 1 Tsp Refined Oil
- 1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
- 2 whole Dried Red Chilis
Heat refined oil in a pot. As the oil heats add the chopped green chilis, garlic, and ginger. Add the chopped Carrots, Green Beans, and Cabbage. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Add the water and cover cook for 5 minutes.
Add the Vinegar, Soy Sauce, Chili Sauce & Tomato Ketchup. Stir to combine.
Make Cornstarch slurry by combining 1 Tbsp of Cornstarch with 2 Tbsp of Coldwater. Stir to combine. Pour it in the soup, stirring constantly.
Make Chili Oil by heating Refined oil in a Pan. As the oil gets hot, add the Red Chili Powder & Whole Dried Red Chilis. After 2 minutes, as the oil gets flavored, remove the Chili and pour it over the soup. Garnish with finely chopped Spring onions
Serve this soup hot.
