Eggless Brownies
When it comes to Brownies or anything chocolate for that matter, I'm a sucker for it. I just love any and everything chocolate.
And since living in India, baking is all about making eggless recipes which everyone at home can enjoy, its always somewhat of a challenge to come up with an eggless version of a popular recipe.
However, I absolutely love love love this Eggless Chocolate Brownie recipe because its so easy to make and the best part is that its so moist, soft and fluffy that no one can ever tell that these are Eggless Brownies.
Just like you make any other brownie this brownie recipe remains the same. Except that since we are making it without eggs so there will be a couple of alterations.
I have divided the recipe into wet and dry ingredients. For Dry ingredients I simply use whole wheat flour which makes it healthy as well. Apart from that I use some Baking Powder and Cocoa Powder.
For the wet ingredients, one of the most essential ingredient is melted butter. You can use vegetable oil as well. However i would highly prefer a brownie made using butter than with regular vegetable oil.
How to make Fudgy Chocolate Brownies
Step 1: Melt Chocolate & Butter
- Add butter and chopped Chocolate chunks in a bowl
- Microwave until smooth
Step 2: Whisk the dry ingredients
- Add Flour, Baking Powder and Cocoa Powder in a bowl and whisk until combined
Step 3: Pour in the wet ingredients
- Pour in the melted chocolate & butter mixture into it.
- Also pour in Yogurt and Milk. Combine everything together
- Trasnfer the batter to a lined baking dish.
Step 4: Bake
- Bake this brownie @350F or 180C for 30 min
- Once they get baked, cut into pieces and serve
Step 5: Serve
- You can top with a scoop of ice cream and also drizzle some chocolate sauce on top before serving.
Expert Tips to make the best Eggless Brownies:
- I add butter to my eggless brownies. However you can add Sunflower oil or vegetable oil as well.
- The consistency of the brownie batter should be thick but moist and sticky upon touch.
- Use good quality of unsweetened cocoa powder for best results.
- In stead of yogurt you can add buttermilk as well.

Fudgy Chocolate Brownies (Eggless)

- 9x9" baking dish
Ingredients
Wet ingredients
- 1 cup Butter melted, unsalted
- 1½ cup All Purpose Flour
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- ¼ cup Cocoa Powder
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Milk
- ¼ cup Yogurt thick
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate chopped
Serving
- Ice cream
- chocolate sauce
Instructions
- Melt Butter and dark chocolate in the oven. Whisk until combined through and keep aside.
- In a large bowl whisk together Flour, Baking powder and Cocoa Powder. Pour in the chocolate and butter mixture.
- Add milk and yogurt to it and fold until combined. Transfer to a lined baking dish.
- Bake @350F or 180C for 30 min.
- Once it gets baked, cut it and serve. Top with ice cream and chocolate sauce before serving.
